Unsafe water kills 250,000 children a year in Pakistan
According to a new study by the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources, 82% of water sources tested in 24 of Pakistan’s 100+ districts are unsafe to drink. The conclusions are a result of a five -year study that also notes that 250,000 children die each year from diarrheal disease.
